Only results from the last warmup group in each event are reported.

1. Danielle Kahle (1, 1)

With a total of 135.36 points and victories in both the long and short program, Danielle Kahle gave two respectable performances.  Her point total and content hints at a reasonable chance to move up from her 11th place finish at the 2005 National Championships, though not substantially.

In the short program she was docked for under-rotating the double toe loop in her jump combination and for putting her hand down on triple toe loop.  In the long program she landed four triples, and fell on an under-rotated triple flip.

With two level-1 elements in both her short program and long program holding her back, an entry into the top 5 at Nationals this year would seem a challenge but a top 10 finish seems feasible.

2. Stephanie Rosenthal (2, 2)

Stephanie Rosenthal kept it close in the short program, trailing by just 1.4 points, but then got crushed in the long program, mainly in the marks for elements.

Her modernistic robot routine in the short program received good Program Component marks (the best of the group).  She also executed mostly level-2 and level-3 elements.  Jumps, though were not kind to her here.  In the short program she missed her jump combination (getting credit for just a triple toe loop), and in the long program landed only two triples.

3. Amy Evidente (5, 3)

Amy Evidente ended the short program just 0.90 points out of the running to qualify for Nationals, and was able to move up in the long program to earn a trip to St. Louis.

In the short porgram she had poor landing on the double toe loop in her jump combination and on double Salchow.  She also struggled through her layback spin which ended up scored as level 1.

In the long program she landed three triples and two double Axels.  She fell on an under-rotated triple Salchow.

4. Anna Madorsky (6, 4)

Anna Madorsky looked out of the running to qualify for Nationals after the short program.  She started strong with a double Axel and triple Salchow, but then executed level 1 and 2 spins and sequences and missed her jump combination which was scores as a double toe loop - single toe loop.

In the long program she landed two triples and two double Axels.  Again her spins and sequences were limited to  level 1 and 2 elements, and for many of these the judges gave her negative GoEs.  It was enough however, to pull up to fourth place overall, largely due to the help of Molly Clingan and Shanell Noji, who both placed in the top four in the short program, but faded in the long.
