2020 Rostelcom Cup

The Rostelecom Cup 2020, often called Cup of Russia, took place in the Megasport Arena in Moscow with about 13,000 colorful seats like in other years.

Because of Covid 19, only 1.200 spectators were allowed to attend each event. It was more or less a domestic event with primarily Russian skaters and a few from other countries who train in Moscow. Concerning the Covid 19 virus, the winner of the Men's event said: ”What characterizes a professional is that they know what to do on any given occasion. We know what to do during these times that’s why we’re not afraid of anything.”
