Quad jump: Any jump having four or four and one-half rotations in the air.

Quint junp: Any jump having four or four and one-half rotations in the air. Never landed and probably unobtainable.

Qualifying competition: A competition leading to a National championship competition that skaters must first enter in order to quality to compete in a National championship.
